Don’t Tell Me No is the book that we have been using in our workshops with the children. It is about a young boy who struggles with negative thoughts and has low self-esteem and confidence when it comes to schoolwork. Doug works on his mindset and changes his thoughts from negative to positive and finds his behaviour and outcome is completely different to what he has ever experienced.
This book is a great way to get children talking about their own negative thoughts, how they perceive themselves and like Doug, it gives them an opportunity to explore new, more positive ways of thinking and approaching things they may find difficult.

Don't Tell Me To Fit In accompanies our Social Media and Mental Health workshop, and it highlights the impacts of social media on our young people focusing on their mental health, self-confidence, self-esteem and self-worth. This book supports our children in seeing how valuable it is to change your perspective and really see the beauty within. How they are made for so much more than a like or a follower.
